Two families come together in business.
Introducing: The Dunwalds
The “D” in D&S stands for Dunwald. Laura and Wayne Dunwald have been experts in the fabric, sewing, embroidery, and promotional business since 1988. They started their sewing shop business as “L&W Fun & Fabrics” in Moosomin, SK. Laura and Wayne have developed the reputation as being reliable, hard working, and having high standards for the product they produce. In 2014, they decided to relocate to Martensville to be closer to family and to downsize their business to begin retirement. However, they decided retirement did not suit them, and they chose to get right back into what they do best – a fabric and embroidery business!
Introducing: The Silzers
The “S” in D&S stands for Silzer. Kevin and Jackie Silzer have lived in Martensville since 1997. Jackie is Laura’s niece. Martensville has given them the opportunity to raise a family in a safe and accommodating community. We are excited to be a small part of a new local business in the growing community of Martensville!
